Building families for 100 years

2008 Bring it Home for Kids Campaign

In 2008, five North Carolina minor league baseball teams and their fans will rally together to build a bright future for children across our state.  The baseball fans and sponsors will join the teams to provide resources to help recruit, train, and support families for children awaiting adoption in NC.

In 2008, we are partnering with the Durham Bulls, the Greensboro Grasshoppers, the Hickory Crawdads, the Kinston Indians, and the Winston-Salem Warthogs! Cheer on a hometown team while making a difference in a child’s life!

How does Bring it Home for Kids work?

  • For every run your home team scores during home games this season, you pledge to make a donation at a specific dollar amount.
  • Each corporate/business partner selects a player from their home team that they believe will have the highest RBI, homeruns, or times crossing home-plate.  You will receive an email newsletter that tracks your player’s and your team’s stats.
  • There will be a mid-season and end-of-season celebration for each team and their sponsors to celebrate the funds raised to date
  • Partners will receive tickets (based on partnership level) for their employees and families to attend the celebration games and join in the festivities.
  • At celebration games, partners and players will be recognized on the field in front of thousands of fans.

Partnership Levels
Corporate partnerships range from $3/run to $30 per run.

Individual partnerships range from $0.25 per run to $1 per run.
