whether adoption is an appropriate choice for you at this time
- An FBI/SBI
fingerprint criminal record check - required by Federal and State Law
- Classes
to provide preparation for adoption
- Placement services
After
an adoption, families receive:
- Post-placement visits and support
- On-going post adoption services
- The CHS Supportive
Post Adoption Network (SPAN) provides specialized post adoption services and
resources for families needing additional support
Adoptive Preparation
for Children in Foster Care: - The Adoption
Alliance program provides services to children in foster care for whom
the plan is adoption. The services include life history development and therapy.
