Families are drawn to adoption and foster care for many reasons. Some struggle with infertility, some feel compelled due to their own past experiences, some feel “called” to help children, and some choose adoption/foster care as a means to help their family grow. Whatever brings an individual or family into the realm of child welfare, CHS is here to guide their journey.

For every family interested in adoption and foster care, CHS spends a great deal of time building their skills and abilities. We teach them about the challenges our children have faced and we help prepare them to parent children with diverse needs. We encourage them to grow together as a family and we provide counseling for individuals and for the family as a while in order to support their growth.
