Over the last 107 years, CHS has placed nearly 14,000 children in loving homes in North Carolina and touched the lives of thousands of families and birth parents. CHS strives to utilize a wealth of innovative services to help place children with waiting families quickly, efficiently, and permanently.

CHS also works diligently to form partnerships with state agencies and private organizations to expand the scope of our services. Having the ability to access private funds allows CHS to create bridges between the public and private sectors and allow greater development of child welfare initiatives.
