Infant Networking Program

“A baby is born with a need to be loved - and never outgrows it.”
Frank Howard Clark

CHS's Infant Networking Program was established to help families wishing to specifically adopt infants. The goal of the program is to network, or connect, families wishing to adopt with the birth parents placing children for adoption. This program often has a wait list of prospective adoptive families.

Parents in the Infant Networking Program must:

  • Have CHS complete a home study
  • Attend a parent education workshop

Upon completion of the home study and parent education workshop, an agreement is signed by the adoptive parents to join the Infant Networking Program and a fee is charged at that time. Once accepted into the program, prospective adoptive families will receive services for a period of 18 months, if required.

Infant Networking Program services include:

  • Social worker consultation and counseling regarding the adoption process
  • Presentation of profiles and pictures to appropriate birth parents
  • Consideration by the birth parents who have chosen to work with CHS
  • Suggestion, encouragement, and support in their own efforts to locate a placement
