Children’s Home Society of North Carolina (CHS) has hosted A Place to Call Home events for a dozen years. These events have been a way for our community to come together to learn more about the needs of children and families across the state and show their support.
Due to the recent events surrounding COVID-19, we are canceling our A Place to Call Home fundraising luncheon series this year. This presents a challenge for CHS because without the charitable support our donors provide through APTCH, we could be facing a $1M shortfall. These are the funds that annually supplement all CHS programs for the costs that contracts and grants don’t cover. These funds are applied wherever the greatest need is throughout the year.
We are excited to announce “Stay at Home with CHS” – a series of virtual events for the week of April 13-17. The events will include connecting with our community through daily emails and social media.
Just like you, we’re concerned about the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are here to support our clients, partners, and communities. We have created a CHS Family Relief Fund for our families facing COVID-19 economic hardships. Twenty-five percent of every gift made through chsnc.org/APlaceToCallHome through the end of April will be placed into the fund.Donate Today
