Being together, staying together

Thirteen-year-old Marcus has a sense of humor and wants to bring laughter and joy to a household. When asked what the word “family” means to Marcus, he said,

“Being together, staying together.”

Simple words, but family time isn’t something Marcus knows very well. He hopes to live with a sibling one day and be able to play games together.

“I have a lot of jokes,” he said while laughing about his knock-knock jokes.

When he isn’t telling jokes, Marcus likes playing with action figures, listening to music, and doing his school work. His dream job is to go into the Air Force and fly a military jet after reading World War II stories at school.
