Foster Parent Support & Training Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI): Raleigh

This training for CHS foster and adoptive parents teaches techniques for preventing the escalation of children’s behaviors into a crisis , and how to intervene safely and effectively if a crisis does occur. The philosophy of the model is to ensure the care, welfare, safety, and security of all involved.
Please wear comfortable clothing, and sneakers or closed-toe shoes. There will be a break from  12 noon until 1 pm for lunch on your own.  Please note that child care is not available for this training. This session will be facilitated by Trudy Robinson, CPI Certified Instructor.
