"Asheville and Morganton" Foster Parent Training Series: Understanding and Managing Difficult Behaviors (classroom or webinar)

Caring for a youth with a history of trauma and loss can present unique challenges for even the most experienced parent, or caregiver.
This interactive series will provide parents and caregivers with an understanding of how trauma impacts behaviors as well as tools and resources to manage difficult behaviors. Join at the Asheville Office, Morganton Office, or from the comfort of your own home via webinar! Child care will not be provided.
*Attendance at the first topic on 8/23/2018 is mandatory via webinar, or in person at the Asheville or Morganton CHS offices. Please register below for all three sessions.*
Sessions are held Thursday nights from 6 until 8pm for three weeks:
• 8/23/18 How trauma affects behaviors
• 8/30/18 The need behind the behavior: responding to children in crisis
• 9/6/18 Calm after the storm: how to discipline trauma related behaviors
