Greensboro "Nonviolent Crisis Intervention"

This training for CHS staff teaches techniques for preventing the escalation of children’s behaviors into a crisis, and how to intervene safely and effectively if a crisis does occur. The skills for identifying the early stages of a crisis can be taught to parents, and the philosophy of the model is to ensure the care, welfare, safety, and security of all involved.
Please wear comfortable clothing, and sneakers or closed-toe shoes. There will be a lunch break from 12:00-12:30. Bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks and cookies will be provided. Space is limited, reserve early!
