Human Trafficking

As stated by The National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC), human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery that occurs in every state. NHTRC reported that in 2015, the resource center received 463 calls and 110 human trafficking cases were reported in the state of North Carolina. The types of trafficking identified were sex trafficking, labor trafficking and a combination of both sex and labor trafficking. Please join us to learn more about the prevalence of human trafficking specifically in Eastern North Carolina from a representative of ENC Stop Human Trafficking Now.
