The Impact of Social Media on Children, Adolescents, and Families

Using social media is among the most common activity of today’s children and adolescents. In this training participants will learn how social media contributes to higher incidences of depression, violence, and risky behaviors in children and adolescents. Additionally participants will be instructed on how to help children use social media in a safe and productive way. Please join us for this informative and interactive training. It is highly encouraged that participants bring a cell phone, tablet, or laptop to the training for use in the activities. New and reoccurring trends in social media will be shared
