Nonviolent Crisis Intervention

This training for CHS foster, adoptive, and kinship parents teaches techniques for preventing the escalation of children’s behaviors into a crisis , and how to intervene safely and effectively if a crisis does occur. The philosophy of the model is to ensure the care, welfare, safety, and security of all involved.
Please wear comfortable clothing, and sneakers or closed-toe shoes. There will be a break from 12:30-1:30 pm for lunch on your own.  Please note that child care is not available for this training.
Space is limited to the first 14 registrants.
