Practice Model Focus Group

CHS is embarking on a Practice Model development process to improve stability, permanency, and well-being outcomes for children and families engaged in the Foster Care to Permanency Program. A Practice Model is an organizing framework that describes an agency’s approach and strategic direction. Practice Models within child welfare agencies can be powerful mechanisms for translating values and principles into discrete practice behaviors and strategies.

You’re invited to participate in the development process!

We need your help operationalizing each of our existing Values and recently drafted Guiding Principles;

• Family-Centered
• Culturally-Conscious
• Trauma-Responsive/Resilience-Focused
• Outcomes-Driven/Evidence-Informed
• Child and Youth-Driven

We need to learn from your perspective how you would demonstrate these principles in everyday interactions with families, colleagues, and the community.
