Assisting Youth with Grief and Loss
Grief and loss can be uncomfortable subjects to address with children. However, it’s important that social workers, Guardian ad Litem staff and volunteers, parents, and caregivers can assist children with the grief process. This training will introduce participants to the effects that separation and loss have on children and their ability to form healthy attachments. Participants will learn ways to help children manage loss in a healthy way.
