You are invited to attend Understanding and Managing Difficult Behaviors facilitated by Allison Sturtevant-Gilliam. This interactive training is for CHS parents, caregivers, and other supportive adults seeking to create successful permanency outcomes for youth in foster care. Please register below. Raising healthy thriving children is most important. Caring for a child with a history of loss and trauma can present unique challenges for even the most experienced caregiver. Building young brains takes work! Having strategies to support children to calm during crisis as well as techniques to discipline trauma related behaviors are essential to a child’s healing process. This interactive, three-part series seeks to provide caregivers with the tools to support children in the healing process”
