Virtual Interactive Training Series “Where Did That Come From?” Understanding and Managing Difficult Behaviors/ starts 11/4/2020
November 4, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pmFree
We all want children to grow up healthy and thriving. Achieving this outcome with children in foster care can present unique challenges for even the most experienced professional. Every child in foster care has a history of loss and trauma that impacts how they behave and interact with the world. Understanding the origin of behaviors is essential to building a connection with children in care, advocating for true healing and resilience, and for supporting those who care for them. This workshop seeks to equip professionals with tools to understand, advocate, and support both children who have experienced trauma and their caregivers.
The training provides 90 minutes of content in an interactive format. Training sessions register below. On the day of the training, use the Zoom link provided in the flyer.
Skill Building sessions offer an opportunity to apply content directly to your work through case studies, practice, and Q&A. Sessions facilitated by the CHS Training Team and SPAN. Skill Building is drop-in. You do not need to preregister. Use the Zoom link provided in the flyer.
