Winston-Salem “Caring for Our Own: Training and Support for Kinship Caregivers”
August 15 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm$25.00
Raising a relative’s child is not the same as raising your own children. Through a series of ten meetings provided in support group format, caregivers learn how to assess and build on the strengths and needs of the children in their care, and gain assistance and ideas for working in partnership with the helping network, the children, and birth parents.
