Surry County adopted woman reunites with biological siblings after more than 50 years

It was a long time coming for Joan Vaughn to finally meet her biological brother and sister. Something she never imagined would happen, but after more than 50 years, she got to hug her siblings for the first time.

“I felt complete. I always felt like something was missing and didn’t know I had siblings, but felt a missing piece and it’s complete now,” said Vaughn.
