Restricted

I give, devise and bequeath [identify here the specific sum of money, the specific asset or the portion of the residual estate] to Children’s Home Society of North Carolina, for the benefit of Children’s Home Society of North Carolina, PO Box 14608, Greensboro, North Carolina 27415, specifically for [describe the primary purpose, such as early learning, prevention programs, foster care, adoption, family resource centers, child and family counseling, etc. Use general language so that the restriction is not so limited as to prevent Children’s Home Society of North Carolina from applying the money to the appropriate needs when the gift is received.]

If it is determined by the Board of Trustees of Children’s Home Society of North Carolina that all or part of the gift is no longer needed, or for any reason cannot be used for the stated purpose, then such portion of the gift may be used for other related purposes, which the Board of Trustees deems to be in the best interests of Children’s Home Society of North Carolina, giving consideration to the original purposes described above.
