Birth Parent Services

Children’s Home Society of North Carolina has a skilled and caring team of dedicated employees that works closely with any birth parent so you can carefully consider your options: parenting, adoption or another plan of care.

Birth Parent Services

Pregnant or recently given birth and not sure of what your next steps are? Children’s Home Society (CHS) provides supportive case management services to birth parents who are not sure of the next steps in their journey. We would love to connect you with a caring, experienced social worker to talk about all of your options. We offer a completely confidential and judgement-free consultation.

We can help you:

  • Consider all of your available options.
  • Make a plan for your child’s future.
  • Obtain medical care and referrals for other services.
  • Evaluate possible living arrangements.
  • Provide ongoing support.

If you choose adoption for your child, CHS can complete the entire adoption process.

Infant Connections Program

If you are seeking infant adoption, Children’s Home Society provides the following services:

  • Educational workshop and materials provided to prepare for your infant adoption experience.
  • An understanding of the Adopting Parents’ obligation to the Birth Parents regarding updates, pictures, and communication.
