Why did you decide to support our organization?
ZIEHL-ABEGG, Inc. believes in supporting our local community organizations. When selecting an employee-driven fundraiser, we looked for organizations with a local impact that also supported families and children. Children’s Home Society met those parameters and really connected with our employee base.
What do you hope to accomplish through your philanthropy?
Philanthropy gives us the opportunity to support our local communities which in turn, supports our own employees. Stronger communities create a foundation for healthier families and family support systems. This is so important for our employees, especially working parents. When we support our communities, we are supporting our employees and our future in this area.
What do you wish everyone knew about this cause?
Children’s Home Society reaches so many people within the entire state of NC, offering many services and benefits to children and families. Families are the backbone of our society. We want homes for children that are healthy, safe, free of trauma, and supportive for our future generations.
